Dr. Austin Ray's journey to chiropractic was shaped by diverse influences rather than following a straightforward path. A pivotal moment occurred during his senior year of high school when a football injury left him struggling with day-to-day activities. As the issue persisted through college, his older sister, then working at a chiropractor's office and pursuing chiropractic studies, encouraged him to explore chiropractic treatment. This decision not only alleviated his pain but also provided valuable insights on injury prevention. Initially planning to study Physical Therapy after college, Dr. Ray's perspective shifted after touring his sister's chiropractic school at Parker University. Inspired by the potential to work with people of all ages and driven by a desire to not only help those experiencing similar challenges but also to emphasize preventive healthcare, Dr. Ray found his calling. Graduating from Abilene Christian University, he dedicated himself to chiropractic at Parker University, where his mission now is to educate and empower individuals on their health journey, fostering optimized well-being for all.
After earning his degree from Parker University in 2019, Dr. Ray embarked on his chiropractic journey by practicing in a Family Practice in Frisco, TX. Here, he seamlessly applied the wealth of knowledge acquired in chiropractic school and witnessed the transformative miracles that chiropractic care can manifest. Driven by a deep-rooted commitment to his community, Dr. Ray aspired to establish his practice in the Lewisville/Flower Mound area, where he and his wife had established their roots.
Certified in Webster and MC2 techniques, Dr. Austin Ray is particularly impassioned about providing chiropractic care for entire families, aiming to optimize the well-being of each unit. His belief in the body's inherent ability to self-heal and self-regulate, a design he attributes to God, fuels his approach to chiropractic care. Through meticulous adjustments that target the nervous system, Dr. Ray facilitates the body's optimal functioning.
Outside of Lighthouse Chiropractic, Dr. Austin Ray cherishes moments with his wife, Corinne, and their delightful new son, Cyrus. As members of Rockpointe Church, also located in Parker Square, they actively contribute to the community in various capacities. Dr. Ray, an avid disc golfer, enjoys games, and appreciates unwinding with a good movie.
